Born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1947, he has been successfully working as a stage designer, painter, and director in Austria since 1970.
During his career as a stage designer and technical director at the multifunctional theater „Komödianten im Künstlerhaus“ in Vienna, he was not only responsible for numerous stage designs, planning, and execution but also occasionally appeared on stage as an actor.
In addition, he has worked and continues to work as a technical stage designer for various theater groups and as a collaborator with independent ensembles in Vienna. A significant milestone in his career was his role as technical director for the opening gala of the Egyptian Opera House in Cairo.
He was involved in the organization and management of the technical operations office at the Burgtheater and the Akademietheater, including rehearsal spaces, workshops, and various other venues. Later, he also took on the position of technical director at the Ronacher Theater in Vienna.
Alongside his successful career as a stage designer and technical director, he has always devoted time to painting, which remains an essential part of his artistic journey.
